Villas in Oyster Pond

"It was our first trip to St Martin and we loved the resort. There is no reason to stay at any other and we will definitely be going back! It does not feel at all crowded and it is laid back. It’s peaceful and not loud. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We loved our ocean suite including the amazing large walk in shower with the rain shower head. The rooms are clean and modern. Even had a kitchenette with a very good size fridge. Right outside the resort just steps away there is a small grocery store along with several other shops. There is a great French bakery we went to in the morning. At night there is a great area with multiple dining options. The resort also has a pool, which is a nice option to have. The beach was beautiful and the ocean water was a perfect r temperature. The scenery was amazing where the resort is located with mountains in the backdrop. The bartender, GP, is fantastic!!! He makes some epic drinks and he has a great personality. He had us laughing the entire time and we enjoyed hanging out with him. Special to GP, Carlos, Alexandra for everything!! You guys made our trip amazing!!! See you again! "

"This property was beautiful. Had a great time. Just be aware that there is a free shuttle into town that is not ran by the resort but by a jewelry store. When they get you into town they take you directly to the store. Try and sell you things. Before you can leave for your shopping in town. "

"Stayed here for 6 days and wish I had booked it for longer. I spent a solo birthday trip out in St. Maarten and ended up booking my stay here and very glad this was the place I chose to stay. I had stayed in the delux suite top floor and couldn’t get enough of the views. The room was ALWAYS clean since the cleaners came everyday and made sure you had everything you needed. I didn’t plan on being a “homebody” and was thinking I was gonna travel the island more but since the hotel practically had everything one needs, I stayed half my trip in the room. Even when my birthday came around the cleaners had hotel staff had gifted me a birthday card and some Rosé! Without telling them why I was there or when my birthday was. You all deserve 6 stars for how you all take care of the property and its guests. The parking lot for guests isn’t the one next to the pool either. It’s the parking lot above. And to get there you have to go through a gate (they give you a remote). The fact it’s a gated parking lot even made me like this hotel even more. But if you do stay here I highly recommend getting a rental car. The hills are super steep and isn’t much around oyster pond. Everything is really on the other side of the island (phillipsburg, Simpson bay) even then..it only takes 30 minutes on average to go from one side of the island to the other in car. I appreciate all the staff from princess heights for making my 27th birthday a relaxing, unforgettable time. Highly recommend this place. "
