Just amazing

Carla was very accommodating and had excellent recommendations for travel and activities. Our teens loved the restaurant, snack bar and volleyball. We loved the beautiful walk through Fase 1 and Fase 2. We enjoyed the vibe of Playacar. Fifth Ave was an easy and safe 15 min walk from the condo. The actual condo has a lot of stair climbing required. It was a great condo for our week long family vacation.

Highly recommend this place!
Our stay was wonderful. If you want to experience a more intimate resort feel thank a large cattle heard, this is your place to stay. Steps from the beach you can enjoy all the things a huge resort offers without the massive crowds. Our room was very clean, air conditioner worked great and everything is within walking distance (shops, restaurants) and easy access to taxis. Our hostess Lupita was spectacular ! She assisted us in any excursions our family were interested in, she was very attentive and hospitable. She made wonderful recommendations of places to visit and eateries. We would stay here again!

Beautiful and convenient location
We had a lovely stay at Carla's condo. The condo itself was clean and spacious. It was so nice to be right on the beach without being at a giant resort with tons of people. I enjoyed my coffee with a lovely view on the balcony, but even the view from inside was nice. My kids loved the pool. Thank you Carla!

Our long weekend stayed
We had great time at playa . The apartment was clean , views where nice , everything as described! Carla is very nice and attentive. Check in/out was easy. Apartment was clean!! We had breakfast once at the resort (extra $) options were good . The pool and beach where nice. If you walk to town from the beach is about 15/20 min . From the street is about 20/25 min . It was our first time in Playa , and we always felt safe , even at 1am !! We used taxis All the time , very safe , and normally prices are already set. And most drivers are very nice! We ate out all the time , we went to the oasis (did not like it ) we ate at tropical , it was good, but our favorite place was Karen’s , we had breakfast snacks n drinks … always very good! (All restaurants at 5th Ave) we took the Ferry to Conzumel , very easy/simply and safe. It leaves every hour. I recommend to buy only one way ticket , because coming back you don’t know which company (which there is 2 of them) will be next. Overall our time in playa was great! The apartment was excellent!!! Close to everything but far enough!!

Carla was an excellent communicator and took care of a few issues we had with the air conditioning. The resort is small and quaint and an easy 7 minute walk to town. The restaurant is ok - we did not do all inclusive as we wanted to be able to eat out. Met a lot of nicepeople who go theree regularly.

Me and my family had an amazing experience at this property. It was our first time not staying at the all-inclusive resort and we liked it a lot. Carla (the owner) was very responsive to questions and requests over the email before our arrival. During our stay, the property was managed by Lupita who made an amazing job with helping us with whatever we needed. Thank you, Carla and Lupita! We'll be back!

Location-Away from big crowds. Easy access to bustling crowded downtown if u like. Kid friendly. People- staff was extremely nice and helpful- including Victor at the front desk, the waiters and bartenders, security, and Esther. NeNe- the activities director always had a real smile. Carla- condo owner was responsive, very polite and attempted to be accommodating. Only our cleaning lady was rude, but whatever ;) Beach- beautiful, lots to do, extensive view. But water is full of seaweed. Not at the fault of the hotel but global warming and wastewater allows for overgrowth flowing in. The hotel cleans the beach some days but it’s overwhelming. House- Nice. Clean. Plenty of space. Well stocked. We had issues w the air, but owner made every attempt to fix. Top (master) br has nice view of beach. View from main floor is mostly of the palms. Good for privacy and shade. Will not allow you to watch over kids at the pool. Food- the pool cafe is good for snacks, guac, kid food and drinks. The main restaurant is not great- but staff was great. Many close good food choices- Dona Celia downtown was our fav for tacos specials. A trip to Walmart grocery was easy and essential. Also loved our experience w “bushman photo”. Amazing amazing. Pack biodegradable sunscreen (Costco) to help the ocean. Great trip.

Great stay. There was a fresh fruit basket and a 5 gallon water jug upon arrival. Unit cleaned once during week long stay with fresh linens and water. Excellent resort staff. Pool toys, sand toys, kayak, paddle board or sail boat all for free. On site Italian dinner restaurant was ok but the welcome reception local food buffet was excellent. Playa within walking distance for more variety of dinner. Great place!

Great Location and perfect size condo with a beautiful view
Condo, Beach, Resort, Location, Staff all great Smaller resort with a lot of the same people that frequent it. Most people introducing themselves. Internet went down contacted the condo owner Carla (Condo #350) within 15mns she contacted cable co and they reset it. Staff was helpful with anything you needed. Can do all inclusive or partial. We bought some groceries, ate at the resort and went into town. Beach is beautiful. Smaller gym and spa again smaller resort, so the right size. We have stayed at 3 of the resorts down the beach. We really enjoy the area because the beach is so nice and a 12mn walk in to town We used the resort bikes every day fun to look at all the homes in the gated community, rode to local market. Loved the space the condo had to offer vs hotel. Full deck, living area, eating and kitchen area. 1/2 bath off of that area. Main level bedroom with full bath and 2 full/queen beds upper penthouse suite with king bed and full bath. Was great for a family of 5. Lots of space. Would recommend and revisit fishermans village.

Awesome Condo!
Thanks Carla for our stay! We had a fabulous time at Fishermen's Village. Your condo was perfect for us (2 couples) and had everything we needed. The staff was great along with all the amenities that Fishermen's Village provides. The condo is in a great location. We have stayed a few times in Playacar Phase 1 and think it's the best place to stay. Very safe feeling and close enough to walk into town. The condo is also very clean and loved how close the resort is to the ocean. We also enjoyed our bike ride and lessons on making perfect guacamole and margaritas!! We will definitely come back! Hope to see you again in the near future!

Great Location
My family and I spent the 2018 New Year at Carla's place. We had never been to Cancun or Playa de Carmen before. Like all real estate agents will tell you, location, location, location. This place is right on a very private beach, the only thing between the room and the beach is the pool and pool bar. The pictures don't nearly capture how great the views are from the balcony. The place was very well stocked with everything you need for a week long stay. Fisherman's (this is where the condo is located) is inside a gated community. The resort is just big enough to have fun events like free cooking classes (I learned how to make sushi rolls), to volleyball tournaments (finished second to the locals). But small enough that you don't have a lot of people on the beach or pool area. The staff is great and everyone loves Carla, so you get smiles every time you mention your room number. Overall just a great vacation and Carla and the staff made it extremely easy to rent. Want to return ASAP. John
