“I stayed here to take part in the newport marathon, and the staff was so welcoming. They put together overnight oats and left running fuel so we had breakfast before the race (before breakfast hours) such a nice touch. Rooms were clean and parking was easy 10/10 experience ”

The bathroom was small, but that's what one should expect from a classic old building. The fact that they maintain it so well is amazing, and a real credit to the innkeeper(s).”

“Beautifully appointed, modern and clean rooms. Convenient to everything without being in the middle of traffic. Two suggestions - the hotel could really benefit from a small indoor area for people to sit and eat, play cards or just wait on friends and family. I'd also would have loved having at least one comfortable chair in the room. I'd stay here again.”

“Staying at The Chanler,once again,did not disappoint. once you cross the threshold, you are transported into a whimsical magical experience. The new decor, is dramatic ,alluring, and eclectic. But it will not fail to Wow you! The staff is once again absolutely amazing. They are efficient, engaging, and go out of the way to make you feel special and welcomed. The rooms are simply decorated perfectly. The on-site restaurant is amazing and every meal is a memorable experience the weight staff at……

“Breakfast was good and fresh each morning. Nice touch for sure. Area is extremely walkable with restaurants nearby. The bed was really comfortable. Shower in the Lark Suite is tricky to figure out but a lot of water pressure. While we were there the hot water in the shower did not work very well. We let them know and hopefully it is fixed by now.”

“The property was quaint, had history and was well located to town. Parking was free and convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean. Breakfast was diverse and of quality. What I didn't like was the obvious wear. Walls had dings. Wallpaper was torn. Furniture was old and interesting but faded and tired. We still enjoyed our stay and we would stay again.”
