“The sheets on our pullout bed were dirty and it holes in them. That’s where my kids slept. It was 11 o’clock at night and we couldn’t not get new sheets because there was no one available.”

“We checked in at 4pm but didn’t go til our room til about 11pm due to seeing a play down the road. when arriving to the rooms it was clearly not cleaned the beds where a mess and dirty towels. They gave us a new room which was cleanish but found a dirty sock in the bathroom and the tub was dirty. On a positive note the bed was comfy.”

“A beautifully maintained hotel that was a great place to spend the night. We stayed in the tower with two and adults and two kids and was great to have three different levels, including the sitting room at the top with windows all around. The snacks in the communal sitting area was much appreciated and breakfast was very nice.”

“The Inn is older in the style I remember from summers at the shore. The room was clean, updated and well maintained. Everything was great. The reason I rated 4 out of 5 was because access is to the room is outside. OK for a summer visit when it is light out later in evening. In the dark and stormy dead of winter I would have had issues getting to the second floor.”

“This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others.”

“Did online check-in and waited for digital key as I always do. Check-in time came and went and several hours later app still said that the room was being prepared. Had to go to the front desk only to be told that the room was ready. Not a big deal… But frustrating. Woke up at 6 AM to loud hallway music playing, open the door to find a speaker right above room 112 where we were staying. I’ve never been in a hotel where the hallway music was playing let alone loud enough to wake people up. Went……

“The good: Beautiful high end hotel and room. Valet parking. It was renovated within the last 5 years. Staff was very very friendly. Beds were comfy. Food and drinks were good. Opportunity for improvement: We had a room on the third floor right next to a very loud ventilation system. We stayed in a beautiful hotel but could not sleep because of the rolling drum sound the entire night. To make matters worse, the bathroom has a skylight with a glass wall that divides the bedroom therefore we had……

“This is by far the best place to stay around New Hope. The staff was amazing, super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and everything felt very relaxing. The breakfast was incredible — honestly as good as a 5-star hotel. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back again. Highly recommend!”
