“We stayed at a historic hotel near Pikes Peak, and it truly felt like stepping back in time. The property is full of vintage charm and classic character. While the atmosphere has an old-fashioned feel, everything — from the surroundings and room cleanliness to the attentive service — made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. We would happily return again. The nearby Old Town area is unique and full of character, perfect for strolling and exploring. Our favorite spot was Manitou……

“We talked to Dennis for 6 months planning our stay. When we arrived, there was a note on the office door with a number to call. I called the number to find out, Dennis wasn't there, and wasn't going to be there at all for our stay. (When I spoke to him 2 days prior and he never mentioned this or the fact we would be checking ourselves in.) We were told to go on in and our door combination was given to us over the phone. We didn't have a host the entire stay. We were completely alone the……

“Right outside our door we could view Pike’s Peak and the Manitou incline. The benches around the doors made it inviting to side outside to enjoy the fabulous view. The staff were friendly and helpful.”

“Not many frills but great location and surprisingly quiet. Clean, fridge and air conditioning worked, and you could walk to two good dinner restaurants and Mo’s great breakfast diner. Shuttle to the more touristy area and cog railway is right down the block at daze inn. Recommend !”

“The cleaning staff needs to clean the windows and around the windows. The countertops weren’t cleaned right and the coaches could use some TLC. The TV didnt work, I couldn’t get anyone to communicate with me about it until the next day.”
