“My wife and I have stayed in a number of hotels and rental houses in Manitou Springs and the Holiday Inn Express and Suites was by far the nicest. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable with a large amount of counter space. The amenities are great: Large indoor pool and hot tub, nice workout facility and a fantastic hot buffet breakfast every morning. Good location; just a mile from downtown. This place will be our new home away from home whenever we visit Manitou Springs.”

“We stayed at a historic hotel near Pikes Peak, and it truly felt like stepping back in time. The property is full of vintage charm and classic character. While the atmosphere has an old-fashioned feel, everything — from the surroundings and room cleanliness to the attentive service — made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. We would happily return again. The nearby Old Town area is unique and full of character, perfect for strolling and exploring. Our favorite spot was Manitou……

“Breakfast was very good with a lot of options! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very modern and clean. Had a few towels that were a little dirty and off color but otherwise a wonderful stay!”

“The website advertised free breakfast, but there was none. The bathroom had a sign stating not to flush toilet paper in the toilet so this was disturbing. No kleenex. The A/C was so loud you couldn't sleep. Used ear plugs the 2nd night. There was no carpet on floors so hard walking on them barefoot. Overall was within walking distance to Manitou Springs so that was good.”

I read reviews before choosing this hotel, I have no idea why folks complained about having difficulty figuring out where to go from the parking garage, it was simple for us. We very much enjoyed our visit and would stay here again without a second thought.”

“We liked all the storage and shelf space. We liked how spacious the room was for 5 people. The breakfast was ok. Would have liked to have the pool a bit warmer and having a hot tub would have been ideal.”
