"Hotel Le Negresco is without a doubt the most beautiful hotel in Nice. We stayed for 4 nights and the location, service and style is 5 stars. I have one complaint regarding the hotel bathroom. Our room had a very large bathroom with a beautiful claw foot tub - but no shower. The tub had a hand held nozzle with no place to rest it while showering (if you put it on the cradle water will spray onto the floor) and the shower curtain only closed 75%. For the cost of this hotel I expect much much...

If you have a car you get a preferred rate at the car park next door (it doesn't connect to the hotel, you must walk outside and go up steps so load and unload prior to parking). Very pet friendly we had our 3 kg dog who was welcomed nicely and the staff knew his name. You must bring your own dog bed and pet bowl. There is a lovely courtyard with pretty gardens for guests which provides a quiet oasis in the middle of the city. The bathrooms are dated but clean. "

"Loved the location across from the cathedral. Very walkable, with the tram stations within 5 minutes and the train station in 8 minutes. Grocery store and mall across the street. Staff were the best. Lots of amenities available. Breakfast was at the cafe below, so coffee and pastry tray at tables beneath the cathedral, watching people go by. Great gelato place on the same block. There is a tiny two-person elevator for those who can’t do stairs. "
