Escape to Serenity: Your Private Maine Lakefront Awaits at Little Sebago Lookout

"My wife and I were looking for a quiet relaxing get away and this cabin not only promised that but delivered in a spectacular way. It didn't matter if it was 2 in teh afternoon or 2 in the morning the lake was amazingly quiet and peaceful. An occasional boat or jet ski would pass by out on the lake but nothing to disturb the peace and quiet of the cabin. Not only was there no noise pollution there was very little light pollution either so you can sit on the deck and star gaze in the quiet morning hours. The local people were very friendly with people waving as we drove by, engaging in conversations when we would meet the whole environment made us feel very welcomed. The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals including a gas grill that worked very well. If you don't like spiral staircases you can walk the stairs out side between each level but the spiral staircase wasn't an issue either. All in all, we were looking for a quiet relaxing few days to unwind and escape from a stressful few weeks and this cabin definitely over delivered. The owner, Shawn, was incredibly responsive and accommodating, we would definitely book again."

"We had an absolute blast and the host was fantastic about communication. One caveat would be that there is no A/C so on days above 80 keep that in mind. When we checked in it was 87 degrees so quite hot, once we were able to open windows that night it got much better."

"We rented this home as an overflow for our high school graduate as we welcomed family in for a week of events. It worked for us and provided the extra room we needed as well as a fun afternoon of playing on the lake with the kayaks and paddle boards. Communication with the host was excellent, they were very responsive to a few minor issues we encountered on our stay. The property is situated on a very steep hill - the driveway is not for the faint of heart and we laughed every time we backed down. Not a problem for us but anyone with mobility issues may struggle with this property. There was a flight of stairs on the outer deck to get inside and a flight of stairs alongside the driveway if you are going up and down to the road. House was cozy and the deck was fantastic. The kitchen was minimally outfitted, but had what we need to cook most meals. Home included beach towels, lawn games, card and board games, and hang out spaces on multiple floors which is great for a multigenerational group. This is a truly residential neighborhood with many folks who live here year round and you will want to respect the slow roads and quiet evenings. Even with all the proximity, there is a pretty private backyard space. Made our daughter's graduation week special and fun for our out of town guests!"
