“Overall, for what you pay, the hotel is really run down and the breakfast in the morning was basically juice, coffee or fruit”

“Our room was clean and useable but it would have been good to inform us that the building and many rooms had been damaged by a tornado 6 weeks ago. It was disturbing to pull up to the building and see the destruction that was caused by it. I was hesitant to walk in after pulling up and seeing boards covering many windows, some windows were broken and the major damage to the carport.”

“outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading. ”

“I like that the property was close to my event. Staff was very unfriendly. The check in desk of incense. The room smelled dirty. I recommend you bring your own pillow. The continental breakfast was very slim. The gravy for the biscuits was watered down and the scrambled eggs, I just don’t know how to describe what those were.”

“This was a great place to stay for what we needed. Rooms were large, well equipped, and very clean. They were also very ecconical! Couldn't stay at a better place if you are attending a perfotmance at tje BluebGate theater. It is just a few steps from the theater . It is also located a very short walk from the Flea Market. Lots of shops and restaurants near by We will definitely stay here again when retirning to Shipshewana. ”

“Nice, affordable place to stay. Wasn’t aware until check-in that they were installing a new TV provider. Air conditioning fan was very loud which had to be turned off at night.”

“Room and air conditioning working great in my room. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. For some who doesn’t complain about foods, the eggs were very bland and tough. The apples and water was the only thing I could take.”

“I had booked through Expedia and they said they didn't have my reservation. Upon my room being cancel at $93 dollars, they had no rooms available except for my room that they said they didn't have reserved just opened up. Make that make sense? I said, "okay I will rebook". They tried to charge me $100 dollars more and I am still battling with getting my $93 dollar refund at a hotel that I didn't stay at, as I went to one up the road. ”

“Very nice, clean comfy beds, delicious breakfast ”

“Room was a bit run down. Didn't seem like it was cleaned in awhile. Dust on the counters and cabinets. Toilet had a mold ring in it. Breakfast seemed stale. They do not put everything away everyday and leave it out until the next morning. ”

“First thing I did when I went into the room was kill a cockroach. Luckily I was just there for a couple hours of sleep each night. Kept my bags zipped up and everything off the floor. Shower fixtures not secured to the wall.”
