“lovely, friendly and restful”

“Off season stay not worth the $ Ideally great location and Inn set up would perhaps be nice during peak season. Erica was pleasant on phone but zero staff inhouse--Inn completely empty on our stay. Advertising either via Expedia or Inn itself inaccurate--no breakfast despite repeated welcome texts saying different. Unable to use fireplace in suite as lighting of unit faulty and to be honest, didn't seem safe. Was told it was "an older unit" when we spoke with owner. Ran into a big……

“The room was clean. The shades did not darken the room. There were no curtains to pull closed at night and it was very bright in the room which made it impossible to sleep without an eye mask. The shower head leaked and the toilet clunks when sitting on it.”

“My only surprise was that parking was not included, it was an additional $45 which I thought was high for the price I paid for the room. The only other complaint is the room was much more than I needed, included a full kitchen and all I needed was a room with a bed.”

You can tell the place is well managed and that attention to detail really matters. The staff also deserve a special mention polite, courteous, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. “The breakfast options were not great. The hot egg-like options did not look appetizing nor the sausages. Fresh berries would be nice. The biscuits were hard. The place was clean and the staff were helpful. ”

“We stayed in late April when the main building was not yet open. The room was was very clean, heating and hot water worked perfectly. The onsite market is convenient for morning coffee and lounging. The staff have recommended some restaurants and a seafood market that turned out very good.”
