“An absolutely lovely hotel in all regards other than the street noise. The location, rooms, staff, design are all first rate. The street noise through the single pane windows makes it seem like you are on 2nd Avenue in NYC. They can’t change them due to the historic nature and they do try to mitigate with white noise machines, but still very noisy. So bring your ear plugs and enjoy the lovely, lovely hotel”

“Parking valet seems expensive until you try to find parking elsewhere and realize it's even more expensive to park in one of the decks overnight. The breakfast and happy hour wine/cheese was a really fun thing to do each day during transition hours. The room upstairs is so nice with great views. Everyone was very friendly. The location cannot be beat. ”

“We paid about 600.00 per night for the "city view" and our view was the back of the property, complete with 5 open dumpsters and a parking garage. Otherwise, the stay was really nice and the location is great.”

“Had a fantastic girls weekend in Charleston, and the hotel was key in that. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool is luxurious. The restaurant was totally happening, and it had great drink options. Ee never heard the neighbors. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase a girls getaway package that included a bottle of bubbles, a charcuterie board, in room massages, and gift certificates to local businesses. ”

“Room was exceptionally small. Poor privacy-we could hear the guests in the room next to us. No hot water in the shower-guess if you like waking up with frigid water then you’re in luck! The only friendly people were our waiter and barista. Front desk person was very rude and the hostess at the restaurant clearly hates her job! We vacation to Charleston usually twice per year-first time staying at this hotel. Convenience to everything downtown is great, but wish the hotel stay would have……
