“Our first time to stay in treehouse type VRBO and we were pleasantly surprised with this experience. David has done an amazing job to create the perfect setting for peace and relaxation. We loved it and look forward to staying at other options on this property. Hanging out with nature including hummingbirds, cows, horses, beautiful views was just what we needed. We will be back in the near future!!”

“Rating a 4/10 The home itself is a place with adequate space and sleeping arrangements for guests. So, a great space if all you need is a place to lay your head for a night, but I rated it a 4 because there was no toilet paper available. We had to purchase it ourselves, which is a little ridiculous. Also had to provide our own ice, as the ice machine on the fridge doesn’t work. I also wouldn’t advise using the kitchen to cook, as utensils available are pretty slim. So, if you plan to stay……

“This little efficiency was great for my needs while visiting in Abilene. Everything worked, and the bathroom was fine. I did some limited food preparation without any problems. Comfortable furniture and cute table to put books or papers on. I would stay there again.”

“Charming lake house set up for fun family weekend. Plenty of indoor/outdoor activities. Furnished with corn hole, foosball, board games, fishing pier, jacuzzi, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Minutes from Abilene in a quiet older neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful morning coffee on the screened in porch.”

“Had the most wonderful time! The home and furnishings are beautiful and very comfortable. There was even a doggie door for our little dog and a beautiful fenced in porch and grassy yard. There’s nothing I would ask to improve the host and hostess were fabulous.”

“It needed hand soap at the sinks. We found some in a closet but not enough. Only had one roll of toilet paper. Contacted the host and she brought us more. Had trouble locking most of the doors. The apartment was very nice and decorated to be very inviting. ”

“Neighborhood is super quiet with friendly neighbors. Home is older and needs more work (exterior doors, locks, caulking), but was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Really appreciated the instant hot water in the bathroom! Backyard was a bit of a disaster (tall weeds, debris) for the dogs to use. Location was perfect for our needs.”
