“We love this place, totally private and secret. John is the perfect host. The couple minutes it takes from town to the SBR… is amazing all by itself. The small secret beach was a bit slippery and muddy close to the bottom but we made it down. The deck is unbelievable and the room was really clean and nice. I would stay again.”

“Great location. The cabin is next to some other cabins, not sure if they’re rentals, or other people who live on the property. So it wasn’t quite as private as I was anticipating. But over all it was a great place to stay for a few days. It might be a little tricky to find if you arrive after dark.”

“Location was good for us. Home was well furnished and in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen appliances are upscale and well stocked. And beds were comfortable. All the furniture was comfortable. Spa was very relaxing and water pressure in showers was good. Walking distance to trails and located close to national and state parks.”

“Very clean, very nice, cute cottage in Eureka. Plenty of room for 4 of us. Had some concerns, hearing that the area was in a bit of a downturn and that there are some questionable ares of the city. But this house was in a nice residential, clean area. We spent our 2 days there traveling to the redwood forests, so we were gone most of the time. What we did see of the town was nice. There were a couple of run-down areas and some questionable folks hanging around there, but most cities have this as……

“My grandmother & our three dogs had a great stay at this sweet little vintage home with a private fully fenced yard, and deck. The laundry room/back entry hall is huge & connected to the kitchen, which is larger than it appears in the photos. Plenty of room for our dogs to stretch out. Our dogs weigh 65lb, 55lb, and 8lb, respectively. The yard was fully secure and well kept, so it was easy to clean up after the dogs. There is plenty of street parking on a nice wide street, and there is room for……
