“A great place to stay in the Santa Cruz mountains. A little tricky to find and get to with winding mountain roads and no signs but that is part of getting away from everything and hanging with the chicks and ducks and geese all a-clucking. Fully stocked bar and kitchen made it so easy to just have fun. The dozens of huge koi fish will practically climb out of the pond when you start feeding them, and the chickens seemed to like Fritos. Watching the sun setting beyond the trees and hills while……

“Honestly, I don't like it very much! The cleanliness is very poor. The mattress and sheets are old and look dirty at first glance. The price is not cheap. There is no hair dryer or ironing machine...”

“The Kind Studio with Kitchen was great! While there are no dishes or utensils supplied automatically, we asked and were given a tote full of a few items which was enough for us to enjoy meals in the room rather than eating in a restaurant. The room was very clean, spacious and bright. We also really enjoyed the outdoor space (patio with table and chairs). Staff was friendly and helpful as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to others visiting the area.”

“We were very excited about our stay at Hotel Solares based on the photos and Information online; however, when we got there we learned that there was no breakfast as advertised, even witnessed a guys get kicked out because she was getting very hostile at the front desk over the misleading information.
