We had fun exploring the Kitty Hawk and Virginia Beach area. The screen porch provided great protection from the insects while allowing the sounds of the water to lull you into relaxation. "

"Best weekend! We rented Driftwood Point for a family wedding. The home and the view did not disappoint. The home was nicely decorated, comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was nicely appointed. My husband has me looking for the pillows for home. We loved this home. Oh, and the bald eagle was a welcome addition. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, and the host was very responsive to messages. It’s a beautiful location on the water with kayaks and a paddle board provided. Our dogs loved roaming the property and the neighbors are all very nice and welcoming. The highlight was watching the sunsets out on the dock. We would highly recommend!"

"The Dock House was awesome, nicely decorated and very well maintained. A great view of the river and especially Elizabeth City at night. We walked over the bridge and toured the waterfront. Really loved the large deck area ON the river. Good value for a great place to spend a week. "

"They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there.There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site.The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes...
