This corner unit is well situated at the resort with a lovely partial ocean view (both across the landscaped grounds and between the buildings). There are two balconies with beautiful views and also a new gas grill. There is plenty of privacy and the unit is very quiet. "Front office was amazing. Staff in restaurant was terrible and rude. We went for the purchased buffet breakfast and the staff in the restaurant was rude and not friendly. They acted like we were an imposition to help us. The buffet food was cold and old. Buffet closes at 10 am. We went at 9 thinking it would be plenty of time and fresh food. Wrong. The staff was not helpful. The food was not good. Very disappointing. Hotel needs to consider hiring new restaurant staff. They clearly do not care. "

"The staff was amazing, zero issues with checking in and out. As far as the room, it wasn’t dirty but there was a dead/squished mosquito above the door when I walked in, and a dead gnat on one of the towels. And not all of the channels worked on the cable, that was a little weird. I’ve worked in hospitality so I understand these things happen, especially when there’s a lot of plant life nearby. But overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Whatever gentlemen worked front desk March 27th was a lot of help, he’s a good dude. "

"The location was great. We could easily walk to the Wharf and the Boardwalk. Parking was tight, but once we parked, we didn't need to move the car until we headed up to the mountains. The staff was friendly. The room was on the small side but clean. We had a balcony that had a view of the wharf."

"Disappointing stay overall. We booked a two-bed suite for three adults specifically because it advertised a sofa bed, but were told at check-in those had been removed during renovations. They did waive the cot fee, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. After our first night, housekeeping stripped all the beds and towels from our room as if we had checked out. After multiple trips to the front desk and over two hours of back-and-forth, we finally had all three beds made—but still had no hand towels and no replenished coffee supplies. While they did waive the resort fee, the experience was frustrating enough that I can’t recommend staying here. The rooms and pools still feel dated despite the refresh. The restaurant and hiking trails were nice, but not enough to make up for the service issues."
