The property itself is absolutely lovely. The building and location is so convenient to downtown and the Local neighborhood shops and places to eat are awesome! “It was great to get back home to visit family and see how things have changed. Initially, I looked at staying at a local hotel, but came across Barbara’s listing and glad I did. The property was beautiful inside and out, private, and centrally located for our visit. Barbara was easy to communicate with and more like a neighbor than a host. I definitely will stay again should we back to visit in the future. ”

“Booked a last-minute trip to make the PWHL Detroit takeover game because my teenage son rediscovered his love for hockey, and so did I. This place was the PERFECT location for what we needed- we walked to the arena, then later to Comerica park and Ford field, to take tourist-y photos. Kitty-corner on one side is a whole foods, in the other is DMC. ”

“Great spot my only complaint was there was no thermostat to control the heat and the water pressure was very low. ”

“I’m sure the inside of the property was nice. But, when we arrived at the building, we decided not to get out of our car. The area did not look safe. The building looked rundown with broken windows, and AC units hanging out of them, the road itself was full of potholes and trash. The “gated parking lot” looked like a dump. We did not get a check-in confirmation until after out 4:00 check in time. We did not get pictures of the outside of the building until after we arrived also. We were……

“We used this space for one night. It was clean, spacious, and met our immediate needs. However, the unit appears better suited for a short stay rather than an extended visit. Guests planning to spend several days here may find the accommodations somewhat limiting.
