“Restaurants had lots of great healthy selections, but after a couple of days, you definitely want something different. Pools were great. I would say the only downside is it is still a really nice resort off the highway.”

“Staff were great. Great location for Red Rocks. Tacos were a good pre-show meal. Shuttle available to show. Only bad thing was the mattress was terrible!”

“The Comfort Inn & Suites Golden – Denver West is close to Red Rocks if you are going to a show. Its location is next to I-70 so you may hear traffic depending on your room’s location. The pool and hit tub were not working/unavailable so that was a bummer. Breakfast was adequate. Check-in and out was easy. Desk clerk said the hotel is undergoing some renovations. Out A/C was nice but very noisy.”

“The property should designate a parking area for their hotel guests instead of selling to people who came to watch the fireworks. I was out for dinner and came back with no parking space. Because I came from out of state and not familiar with the area, I was driving around for 1 1/2 hours until the fireworks was done. The staff failed to inform me of the parking space situation for an event like this.”

“I’d like to say I loved the area and the room itself but as we passed multiple homeless and arrived to our heavily sanitized room that reeked for days somewhere between bleach and garbage I realized this probably wasn’t the best idea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And the hotel itself isn’t too far to get around downtown. We would’ve changed the room but had no time. We had plans set for the entirety of the weekend and our room was the last worry on my list. Maybe it was garbage……

“I was a little nervous about the valet parking (just because I’m not used to it). It went great though! The final morning, when we had to leave before the attendant was available, they gave us our car keys at the front desk and away we go! Very positive experience and look forward to returning someday!”

“If you want to use the microwave, you have to travel down to the lobby.... and fully expect to take a shower while washing your hands in the shallow sink. Especially since the showerhead will about jet spray your skin off. The bed was comfortable (though the pillows were really lumpy). But, that's about the best I can say. Not sure I'd stay here again - there were just enough uncomfortable nuances that would cause me to book elsewhere....”

“The room door card is a magnetic card, which is difficult to operate, the air conditioning filter is very dirty, and there are many ants on the windowsill of the room.”

“Okay hotel for short stay. Good location. Rooms need to be renovated. Housekeeping did a nice job and morning breakfast was okay.”
