The main falls in rock island state park are a site to see. They stretch a few hundred feet wide! Slowly cascading down a side of a rock faced wall. It is a short but tenuous hike to see the falls. But, they are some of the best you can see in the south east. Maybe not the tallest or most water flowing, but it is a beautiful, slow, and pooling fall. As an added bonus the river it flows into is controlled by a dam, so you can at times get up to the waterfall, and at other times raft the river which I'm guessing is a class 3-4. A friend of mine has rafted it from the northern most spot to put in to the falls, and he said it was technical, he's done it a few times now.

“Had to Uber everywhere. The property was nice - but long hallways, felt a little scary. The penthouse should definitely update amenities. Bath towels were mix match, bedding felt and looked older. King room didn’t have a tv. Over all the place felt plain and not worth the money. Cleaning crew could definitely do a better job. Crumbs on kitchen floor, table had a grease film on it , crumbled up towel paper in bathroom drawers. We would definitely choose a hotel closer to broadway and feel better……

"Hotel WIFI is terrible, I couldn't even watch a vedio by connecting to the WIFI. The room has very poor sound insulation. Starting from 9 am, I could hear loud noises from the cleaning staff pushing carts back and forth along the hallway. Breakfast is average level. In total not worth the price."
