“We stayed over Thanksgiving with four couples and four children. The home was okay for a large family gathering, but there were several issues.We are a family who enjoys cooking together and the kitchen was not well outfitted for large gatherings who plan on that. You will need to bring large baking/roasting pans (there were a couple of mid sized baking dishes) and mid sized mixing/serving dishes (there was only one huge mixing bowl plus cereal bowls). “The house was perfect. But, There weren’t enough towels so bring your own. There were not enough warm blankets so bring your own. Bring you hair dryer if you need one. The sheets are cheap polyester. The furniture was cheap ikea specials. Usually, I have experienced luxury at a VRBO but this place was lacking. The yard is good for older kids. ”

“This place was amazing, I love the rustic look it gave. Karl was great at communicating with us from start to finish. This was my husband and mine get away before he got back on the road so we just wanted some alone time. Only issue and it was a big one was the AC wasnt working. I called Karl and he responded in a timely manner and made arrangements to have it fixed that day. Unfortunately, it stop working again and since it was just for two night stay we managed through it. “It was good but upon arrival a dead roach was found in one of the bedrooms, a roach antenna coming from the top of the bathroom door downstairs , and the bathroom upstairs had a weird smell coming from the sink, underneath ALL the sinks were pretty dirty. There is no cleaning supplies, only a mop and a swiffer. But overall, was a good stay.”

“This property was clean and fresh and well appointed. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and the kitchen had everything we needed to pull off a wonderful holiday meal. We have stayed at a number of VRBOs over the years and the supplies provided here were plentiful, especially when compared to the meager supplies other hosts have provided. The host was exceptionally responsive and professional. If we were to visit the Williamsburg area in the future, I would definitely want to stay here……

“We arrived to NewPort news around 2:30 and checked into the home on 245 Chapel St. @ 3pm. Once I got my mother and family members settled in my husband and I went to the other home 701 Smith St. without complications. My husband and I were not impressive about the neighborhood or the distance from the home on Chapel St., which they stated that the homes were walking distance; approximately 7 minute drive across the town. The home on Smith St. was nicely clean on the inside. We slept there……
