“Beautiful place and even more beautiful scenery”

“We arrived at the Budget Inn a little before midnight on a Friday night. We only stayed one night on our way to the Westerly beaches. The property and the room were clean and the staff was helpful with providing directions. It’s a secluded location with not much around or much to see, but it is clean and safe. There aren’t many amenities and very little soap, shampoo, etc. We wore shoes in the shower because although the bathroom was clean, it was clearly old and well used.”

“The office smelled horrible as did the person checking me in. Upon entering the room it smelled bad also. The floor was deteriorated laminate and was extremely sticky. I wouldn’t walk on it without my shoes on. The toilet seat was falling off and there was no toilet paper(or even a dispenser) anywhere in the room. The dressers were in horrible shape, like ones people put in their yards with a free sign. There was no soap or tissues anywhere in the room. The wall mounted air conditioner was……

“Arriving early, I was told I couldn't check in till 3pm. Outside was covered in debris. Inside a bit in disarray. And the major issue, after check in I tried to get in some well needed rest. That's when the "horse" started galloping in the room above me. I let it go for awhile, than I went to the front desk to ask what's happening. Nothing was resolved. The galloping continued, again i went to the front desk, asked them to move my room or the one above me...nothing. This happened 3 more till……

“Very clean, well kept property. Convenient parking right outside the door. Good location to explore the area. Felt safe and secure. Air conditioning kept the room very comfortable. For the price, breakfast options would have been a nice addition. Also, a luggage rack in the room.”
