“The 1st thing strikes you is the overwhelming stench of urine the moment you enter propty ground is. Clerk at check in was more concerned that he would be leaving in 18 minutes and if I had any issues with the room, I needed to tell him in those 18 mins. “Our stay at the Ocean Front Hotel in Wells, Maine, was incredibly disappointing, especially considering we paid over $600 a night. At that price, you expect a clean, comfortable, well-maintained room and a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, that was nowhere close to what we got. The rooms looked and felt like they were straight out of a 1950s horror film. They were dated, worn, and nowhere near the standard you would expect for a hotel charging more than $600 per night. “My family and I enjoyed the size of the space. It was very clean. We didn’t like that we had small children running back and forth above us. It was loud. It would have been better if the sheets and blanket needed for the pull out couch were just in the unit. We didn’t think of it until it was too late to ask. We will return but definitely ask for the top floor.”

“We loved staying here! Loved that it had a full kitchen, and the location was perfect! We could park the car and then not have to worry about having to drive around. We stayed in town to enjoy the Prescott Park's outdoor theater (within' walking distance) and was easily able walk around to find places to eat or shop around. We also loved the rooftop table and seating area. When we are in the area we will be back!”
