“We were so looking forward to a lovely ten day visit in this home and a chance to get to know the area. When we checked in we noticed that there were brown poop stains on the sheets as well as black hairs. We were so horrified and disgusted. When we reached out to the host he offered to cancel our stay for the remaining time which we welcomed since the soiled sheets colored our experience overall. Mark told us that we had to cancel from our end but VRBO is not set up for the guest to do so. ……

“This home was perfect for my family to stay in for a long weekend to be near my daughter’s Fairfax wedding. The home was easy to locate, near shopping and restaurants, and was exactly as it appeared in the photos (just as spacious!!).The home was clean, easy to enter, and very homey feeling. There was also plenty of onsite parking. The host was easy to contact. Thank you, Lilian!!”

“Really special place! Comfortable well equipped. Very Important to really read the instructions ALL OF THEM! Double bed instructions were not as complete as they should be ----like where the linens are. History of the boat should be shared ahead of time as well! So interesting. Over all so enjoyable and fun night life with herons and harbor seal hunting for fish. The bay cruise was really nice and the captain was great and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this special adventure.”
