“Breakfast was good”

“From the immaculate grounds, to the unreal US history from the Warner family, this destination is a true gem. Phil and Laura; the inn keepers hosted our amazing stay and provided information on the rich history of the site. Austin’s is a wonderful high quality dining establishment on premises with outstanding cuisine, quiet atmosphere, and wonderful wine recommendations by Christian; a top-notch waiter and sommelier. “Upon initial check-in, they placed us in a 1st floor room by the dining area that had an overwhelming musty-smell. The carpet was wet and there was a considerable amount of black mold growing on the ceiling. I asked for a different room and we were placed on the 4th floor. That room was acceptable, clean, smelled clean and the beds were very clean.”

“Although the stay was not horrible, the room was dark had to ask for additional lighting, and the air conditioning on the 2nd floor was not working in my room it cycled from air to heat. Good thing I always travel with a fan my 5-speed Woozoo. This fan saved the day.”

“The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for……
