“The Cottage and Castle is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated and situated in a lovely neighborhood of colourfully painted houses and As well it is anIt’s a real gem. However as we returned after an evening out the stench in the air from a soil, composting, wastewater and recycling treatment plant was overwhelming. I there is a solution to this as Chemainus is a charming town and the Cottage and Castle was exceptional! ”

“Great view from room. You can see ferries going in a distance as well as the Malahat to Victoria. On clear days you can see Vancouver and the Washington coast. Seen deer eating on the property. Very clean and quiet.”
