“Sarah the host was lovely and we enjoyed her art/gallery and garden. Chalet was in a good position if you have a car. We didn't know you couldn't drive your car to your chalet - suitcases have to be lugged up and down steps. We would have liked some outdoor seating. Kitchen was small but good and had everything we needed. Lsundry was fine. I thought the chalets were near a beach because of the photos but they weren't.”

“We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. One of the best aspects is that the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from Commercial Street, and within easy walking distance of most of the many……

“Beautiful views of crofts and the sea. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bed especially comfortable with cotton sheets and cushy duvet. Teas and coffee were available. Breakfast absolutely delicious with the host preparing any level of breakfast need.”

“Great location next to Bains Beach in Lerwick.Nice conversion of former Butchers shop / blanked off window would give greater light to living area.Very well equipped and comfortable.If you have a vehicle parking can be awkward as expected.Contact with “hosts” are not the actual owners - chat lines and phone calls are via The Philippines.Booked through Shetland Stays but seemed to be tied up with this site - seems to be indiscriminate pricing.Would I return - if they’d have me - you bet I would.”
