“Good staff”

“The spa and pool was love, we realkt enjoyed it, but we had no kettle in our room we walked to reception and asked for one, I offered to collect it and take it back but they saud no a member of staff will bring it , we never received it, so couldn't have any drinks in our room, room was clean but dated , but on the whole we enjoyed it, breakfast was great”

“We tried to check in early as we were at a wedding during the day. The receptionist said unfortunately this wasn’t possible despite letting other people to do so and would let us know as soon as a room was available (no one contacted us at all). They offered to hold our bags but we later just found it unattended in the reception area. When we finally were able to check in, we were given a room with one tiny fan with a window that only opened 2 inches. When we queried this with reception, they……

“Stayed 1 night whilst visiting a local theatre. Perfect location to walk to restaurants and bars and the theatres. Parking across the road is £9 a night. Modern, bright clean hotel, typical Hilton style. Room clean Good shower in bathroom with toiletries Large comfortable bed Good aircon We slept very well Would use again if in the area”

“Crew Hall represents the last Hurrah of Victorian and Edwardian country house revamps. The public rooms, foyer and chapel are architectural gems. But it have comfortable spacious modern bedrooms combining its historic charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spotless, the staff charming and the breakfast excellent. Have stayed before will stay again”

“I paid £55 for family room, apparently other rooms start at £35. I didn’t need the family room but surprisingly it was all that they had left. The Hotel is undergoing some much needed refurbishment, everything about the hotel is dated, and either worn out or broken. The carpets were thread bear in places and had tape over some of the larger holes. The floors were very uneven to walk over. The furniture was very dated. The bedroom door was just a lightweight internal door, and not a fire rated……

“hotel is ok. self check in doesn't work mostly which you would think they can fix this. rooms have no Aircon so if its warm i wouldn't stay there. they give fans in the room. its not a horrible hotel but its really on par with a holiday inn or similar. its not really a great hotel but ok if the prices are cheap then its not a bad place to stay. overall they try to minimize any help or extras to keep costs low which i guess is how it goes.”
