“This hotel was recently renovated and reopened after being closed for many years. There is still quite a bit of work to do and the maintenance staff is only onsite during the day. We had to change rooms, which led to a room being out of service. The owners should consider keeping staff on for extra hours until the tourism season is over.”

“We got there before normal check in and had to wait as they inspected the room. They said it was ready but didn’t they didn’t discover most of the lights didn’t work, tge room clock didn’t work or the power outlets around the bed didn’t work. When I reported the problem they made us sit in the lobby for an hour to report they couldn’t fix it and had no other room nor even discount the price because of the inconvenience. We were only there a few nights so tolerated the lumpy bed,……

“Second time to choose this place”

“Not much good to say. It was an outdated room with few furnishings, not inline with contemporary hotels. The handicapped shower was not sloped properly in the bathroom and the ENTIRE bathroom flooded after a shower making it unusable post-showering. I mentioned this to the staff, but was told "it will drain eventually". Breakfast was sub-par. Entire site needed an overhaul.”

“The room really smelled musty. Carpet was stained. Everything needs a serious updating. The wifi went out during a thunderstorm and was never restored. This motel looks like its about to go out of business.”

Great vibes and very reminiscent of farmland across the country. Be AWARE that the bathroom situation is as it is written: The outhouse is the sole bathroom, and it is very clean with modern seating arrangements, but just like a classic outhouse, it does not have running water. “Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.”

“The house was very clean and in a quite location. We were in the area for the Cooperstown dreams park week and thought this location would be too far away. It is a 55 minute drive but the scenery and beautiful house was worth it. Would stay again if in that area.”
