“Very clean.”

“The room, the tub and the view was wonderful. Very comfortable stay. We loved the little balcony where we could have breakfast. The little lobby right downstairs provided coffee, tea, some snacks and drinks in the fridge. The small fridge was convenient to store ice packs and some small items you may have.”

“Everything was lovely but the wifi. Really unreliable and weak. I heard from others that service in the area was not good. My telephone could barely get a signal from the service that my home provider (videotron, excellent) uses in the US : T-Mobile. I got one bar at best. The wifi of the hotel never worked at all. (I didn’t report it or ask for help, we were just there for one night…) However the stay was very pleasant. Breakfast was quite adequate. The room was very quiet and we slept very……

“I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties in my life and I have to say that the Hyde Park Fairfield Inn was one of the loveliest surprises I stumbled on! It was a lovely building with wonderful additional outdoor amenities (fire pits, swinging couches, tables and chairs). And our room was actually one of the best appointed rooms ever; and it was a kind of suite with a small kitchenette with fridge and stove! And the final surprise was the free breakfast - as most Fairfield Inns are - but it was so……

“We had just one night, but felt it to be a true homebase for a visit. First, of note, was the very (!) comfortable bed , thoughtful amenities --including a TV with streaming subscriptions all loaded. along with added space to settle in the sitting room which had a fridge and freezer. The centrality of this charming historic property --within easy walking distance of sites, restaurants, book store and shops--was of importance to us. We felt free to use it as a base to explore the city of Kingston……

“Property was amazing, super clean, staff very friendly. I just didn’t know that the hotel has 3 buildings in 3 streets and we had to walk 1 block to have breakfast at the main building and the parking is another block away. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant as well and food was delicious!”
