“This house has everything. It’s at the end of a dead-end. Very private. Beautiful high lake view. Plenty of outdoor space. Plenty of parking. We were 10 ladies celebrating over 50 years of friendship. Plenty of beds for everyone to have their own. It was a beautiful weekend. The house offered plenty of entertainment. Very comfortable. The host/owner greeted us and walked us through the expansive home. He was very responsive and answered quickly. He facilitated our boat rental and captain. We……

“The host was very welcoming and gave a thorough tour of the house. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with 6 adults and 3 granddaughters ages 5,8,9. The girls loved the house - the jacuzzi, hot tub were big hits. They also loved the bottom level with the games and exercise equipment but by far the 3 horses were the biggest hit of all. They loved feeding them and visiting them. The kitchen was large and well equipped and we had a wonderful dinner our first night in the large dining room.……

“This house is so homey and safe feeling. Like a cozy little cottage snuggled within the trees beside the most calm and peaceful lake. I really needed a reset from my life - here is to new beginnings and to a happy future starting in this perfect little getaway. The host was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had including a slightly later check out due to a later flight.”

“We stayed here while in town for a wedding in Litchfield and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The beds were super comfy, and all the cozy touches—soft blankets, good coffee, and a comfy couch with plenty of lap blankets—made it feel like home. The place was really clean and airy but still felt tucked away in a peaceful, woodsy area.We also loved all the thoughtful details, like extra travel toothbrushes, loofahs, and really nice shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. “The beds and couch were comfortable! The kitchen had basic necessities, however you may need to reconsider meals if doing some serious chopping/cutting (ex sweet potatoes) d/t knife quality. If you are a fan sleeper add that to your packing list. Overall the stay was amazing with great views and helpful hosts! ”
