"Large, clean rooms with balcony. Chairs could have been more comfortable, since I enjoy sitting on the balcony reading. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. You really know you are on a tropical island. Staff was great overall, red flag service on the beach not so great, either had to hunt somebody down or get your drinks yourself from the bar. We never used the swim-up bar since we only swam in the ocean. Restaurants were ok, we had great food in the fine dining restaurant. The grill was mostly good, but not consistent. The Asian restaurant had the best service of any of the restaurants, but the food was terrible. The main restaurant had always lots of options and was for the most part good as long as you came early. The drinks were good, but it also depended on the bartender how strong they were. Overall, we had a great, relaxing vacation that we enjoyed. We definitely would return."

"The Azul is a wonderful property on excellent beach front "7 mile beach Nigril". The staff, cleansiness of the Property were great. There is activities for all age to enjoy. I first encountered a long 1.5 hours wait time to get my room. We were disappointed with the food selection. Very little authenticity of the Jamaican food basic "jerk chicken". Quality of food was poor. Staff in all the departs I encountered were welcoming pleasant and accommodating. Management address the meals, good food is key to a great vacation."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The facilities and amenities were first class, and the hotel itself is absolutely amazing, with lots of beautiful areas to relax and enjoy, including its own lovely pool. The food was also excellent and really added to the overall experience. We also used the spa services. The massage was fantastic and very relaxing, and I was extremely pleased with that treatment. Unfortunately, the manicure and pedicure were a completely different experience. The quality was well below the standard I would expect from a hotel of this quality, and the finished result was very disappointing. I eventually received a refund, which I appreciated. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with beautiful facilities, great food, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent spa massage services. My only disappointment was the manicure and pedicure, which I hope the hotel will address so that the spa can match the high standard of the rest of the property. I would happily return."
