"For a 4 star hotel this was appalling. During our 3 night stay we didn’t see one member of hotel staff. No reception (self checkin & out) room was dirty I had to clean the toilet when we arrived and the cups but there was no one to tell. Rang reception several times no one picks up. Went down whole area in darkness. You would have thought the hotel was closed. Dinning room closed breakfast in attached bistro, thank goodness this was lovely. "

"The hotel needs a bit of an update as it looks a little old fashioned but it was comfortable enough. Perhaps not the cheapest hotel in the area and it's about three miles out of town but easy to find and has a spectacular view overlooking a loch on one side (unfortunately my side faced the bottom of a mountain). Overall not a bad experience."
