“We loved our stay here. The cabin is so cute and clean. The animals are fun to see. It's just a very short walk down to the riverwalk which is great! The only negative I have is there wasn't much light in the bathroom. Hard to see anything in the mirror but there is a vanity in the bedroom with a light. Breakfast in the barn was so cool!! We would stay again. ”

“The Shepherd’s Hut is a well appointed with puzzles the kids loved and a great plastic pool! Samantha is a fantastic host and the kids loved the farm and the animals, especially the peacocks! Highly recommended. TV had football so our teenager was happy! Very close to Glen Rose, Fossil Rim, and Dinosaur Valley. A wonderful stay.”

“This is a great house for a group of eight. Everyone has a comfy bed, three bedrooms, rear balcony facing quiet green space, and even a front balcony! And the home is stocked with every item you could possibly need. Neighborhood was completely quiet, I didnt even notice traffic on street. The host is an excellent communicator and very welcoming. “We were delighted with this small, but well-thought out home. Four adults easily felt at home using the three bedrooms, we never had any issues with hot water or heat, as we were there during a very cold spell of temps in the upper 20s and 30s. As the driveway is not paved, I would recommend a dedicated place near the front door for shoes. Also, the batteries for the fireplace remote need replacing, as well as some lightbulbs in the lamps.
