The staff was very friendly, the location was prime to local hotspots, and the room had ample basic amenities. The Wifi cut out and was slow, the heating / cooling was complicated, and the area could be loud sometimes due to the location.

We stayed two nights in one of the motel rooms and five nights in one of the cabins. Both were cleaned excellently and were very cozy. Last time I went there 20 years ago I was able to climb Mount Rushmore but they were repairing the grounds so it was closed

We really enjoyed Keystone and will go back. We had discussed going to Hot Springs instead. But, we drove through there on our way home and were very glad that we had stayed in Keystone instead.
