“The house is very old & although it's been restored, there are unavoidable things with an old house: very creaky floors & doors. (Not great for people with babies or people needing privacy). Original tubs/showers are very narrow have rust stains. They are clean, but don't look clean. There were critters in the attic & walls. We never saw them, but heard them. Also, the mattresses weren't great. Two of them were VERY firm; the other was thin & old. Also, the area is a little rundown and the house……

“The New Winter of 1947 was such an adorable country cottage, we saw deer at night and especially enjoyed the private backyard with a fire pit. Checkin was so easy and the Host response time was excellent and so nice. I loved that it was pet-friendly. Our stay was very pleasant, the Host thought of everything, anything you’d possibly need they had it! I highly recommend the New Winter of 1947 Charming Cottage and would definitely stay there again.”
