This was our second stay here and the hotel is very cool and fun. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint about the hotel itself is that the sound attenuation from the hall and adjacent rooms was pretty bad. We could hear the people in the next room talking at a normal level. The other thing is that staff vacuumed the hall outside our door at 8:30 on Sunday morning and it was very loud.
Where we had a big problem was in the restaurant on the second floor. We were there for Sunday morning breakfast. Our waitress poured coffee and took our order and did not come back to our table for 35 minutes. She was serving others in the same room but we could not get her attention. We had to flag someone else down in the interim to get a coffee refill. When the food finally came, delivered by someone other than our waitress, it was completely cold. It is clear that our waitress forgot about us and our food. We had to get manager to have our food re-done, and he did comp the meal for us, which was very nice. But overall, we did not get our food properly served for an hour after we arrived. That obviously spoiled the wonderful experience we were looking forward to.
