“The host responded quickly to my requests. Apartment was clean. Kitchen well stocked with cooking, utensils, spices, etc. He registered my car so I coiud park on the street without any problem. Close to the Blue Line stop to take the "L" into downtown Chicago.”

“Apartment was easy to find, liked the lock system on doors. Loved the designated parking area. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Extra towels and toilet paper was greatly appreciated. We were able to relax and watch tv. If you’re not into noisy areas, this is not the place for you. But if it doesn’t bother you then this is a gem. We were above an apartment and could hear everything but that didn’t bother us. Would stay here again.”

“Great location and close to family in center of Oak Park 3 bedrooms worked great for all to have own bed. We managed with 1 bathroom but planned ahead kitchen was adequate but fridge was a bit dated Front sitting area was a gem and really enjoyed that common space Street was under construction nearby but really helped for any noise. Very quiet when we stayed Garage parking and space to turn around so not backing into traffic was also key! Definitely plan to return as hosts were great and……

They knew we traveled with children--on our first stay our children happily slept on the couches--so when we arrived the second time, there was a second bed set and ready for us. “Joan was very upfront about height being an issue. I am 5'10" tall and it really wasn't a problem for me. Just had to remember to duck in several places. Mattress was great! Joan was very responsive when we requested 2 degrees warmer for the temperature. Very pleased overall.”
