“Really funky old hotel that has been transformed. Really cool vibe and clean accommodation with beautifully renovated rooms. The bar was like stepping back in time and the staff were super friendly and helpful.”

“Very nice and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was nice and with great varieties Rooms are clean and delicately decorated. While I was bringing a child with us, the housekeeping did prepare a third set of towels for us - we don’t need to make any special request every night.”

“The coffee cups were not replaced with cleaned ones / washed every day. Used cups were just left in the room. I also saw hair in towel and toothpaste in the sink. Teabags were not refilled.”

“All staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The original concierge /reception gentleman was extra kind and thoughtful enough to allow me an early check in without charge until his female manager stopped him and demanded I pay an early check in fee of AUD100 to which I refused. My check in date was October 7 ( Monday) which is a public holiday, if Ibis would like to check their staff roster log they will be able to find out which staff go out of their way to make guest want to come back and stay……

“Room is clean, reception is friendly and helpful.”
