“The property was in the woods which is what we wanted. We were close to many hiking trails in DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon. The place was very quiet and relaxing. One drawback about any cabins that I stay that are in the woods is that you typically compromise with having a bit of dirt and bugs. However, this cabin was so clean that you would have thought that it had been newly listed as a rental. The kitchen had everything that I needed and the charcoal grill was in great……

“Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a week stay. Location was good for our trips to Chattanooga, Cloudland Canyon SP and Chickamauga NMP as well as groceries. Fire pit and hot tub were enjoyed a few times. If we have one suggestion it would be to provide options to have the bedrooms darker. Overall we would recommend this cabin. ”

“Check in was super easy. Our adult children loved all of the Knick knacks in the house and also loved the scavenger hunts. I was schooled by my children and spouse about everything Harry Potter. It is so nice that a place can inspire adults to smile like young kids again! A definite must!”

“We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, fire pit, ample firewood provided, and the spacious home. The upstairs consisted of a bedroom and newly renovated master bathroom. On the main level were two bedrooms (one with a double bed plus a door to the back porch) and one with two sets of bunk beds. The main floor had one bathroom on the same hallways as the bedrooms, a well stocked laundry room, kitchen and great room. Easy access to Mentone and the various state parks nearby. Great communication……

“The inside of the suite was just as pictured super cute and just enough for a couple. The outside however of the suite was not as described. The suite is connected to the hosts own personal home not as private and intimate as pictured. The outside of the house was kind of messy and not as pretty and put together as pictured. We enjoyed our stay but the awkwardness of not having a private suite and sharing a space with the host was not enjoyable”
