"Everything was immaculately clean. The area is beautiful. Reservation and check-in went very smoothly. I highly recommend. My only concern is that the distance from the tent to the parking and the bathroom facilities was not communicated clearly. I am moderately fit and, for me, it was a 7-minute walk (including a short but steep hill) from the closest parking to the tent. And the bathroom was 3-4 minutes beyond that. There is no water source at the tent. Just FYI. "

"The Lumen Nature Retreat was a fantastic choice for a first time camper, like myself. The campsite was a perfect retreat at the end of a day of hiking, and provided the comforts of a beautifully maintained bathroom/shower that was a quick walk from my site. The safari tent was a great choice too, with plenty of space to get settled with a nice comfy bed to rest at the end of a long day. "We really enjoyed the chalet, super clean and very new. The lake is so peaceful and beautiful, we spent so much time on the balcony with the kiddos looking at the water. Wish the weather cooperated a bit more so we could enjoy the fire pit area but it was still really nice. I’d recommend this place as a quiet retreat or as an option during the ski season for sure. Thanks for having us!"
