"Food was not so tasty, same stuff every day, not enough fruit and always short on some stuff Drinks and very cheap and weak and not enough stuff to serve the guests, always lines everyone, one big buffet to serve this amount of guests it’s really bad. Rooms are clean but smelled like mildew every day last 3 days of our stay was really bad because the whole resort smelled like poop and we had turn of our AC , the smells was coming through the vents and it smelled like something died, I would not be coming for sure We where allowed 3 dinner s but no reservation are available to some good restaurants on the resort We couldn’t swim at the beach because it’s all covered with seaweed No one was allowed to swim plus you would not want to because the beach area is small, water is dirty and full of black seaweed Not enough entertainment either Little boring Casino so small also Overall only rooms are nice and the landscaping was nice "

"I first have to say the staff and front desk were great, delivered on what they said they would do. Rare at a big resort. The food here is terrible! I mean below average. All the meats are way overcooked, the same buffet items day after day, just regurgitated and once the food is fine it’s just mixed into another dish. Standard for all inclusive I know but I basically stopped eating after day 4 reserving myself to and fresh fruit or available vegetables. The sodium content is mind boggling and just not necessary!! We had 1 good meal at al la cart and that was the filet at Le Gourmet, it was very good. I know it’s hard to feed that many people but I have been to a few all inclusive and food wise this was the worst. Cobá buffets is the worst of all, akumel is a little better, tequila buffet was horrible and telum was bad too. (Sorry to be so negative) The transportation shuttles à la Mexican style were a bit challenging too. Sometimes waiting up to 40 min to get from one resort to the other. Staff is awesome, they made us change rooms and all was taken care of, we had to get a bed for one of the kids it was there within 40 min. All that was great. No real beach to say, not like other resorts, very rockey and sparse. "

"Great time overall, staff energetic and friendly. Food was delicious but the reservation system was cumbersome and if you didn't have a reservation it was problematic eating at any of the restaurants outside of the buffet."

"Understaffed. Low quality of alcohol. It is not kids friendly the nicest and central located amenities were for adults only. Had so many available day beds but at the family pools so crowded and no day beds. Beach is small and lots, tons of sea weed, workers start cleaning at a third day of our stay with bare hands the dont have heavy machinery to clean it all fast. The smell coming from the beach was horrible. On 5he beach they have justabout 5 palapas with day beds for families and they have about 10 palapas for adults. Also you can not make reservations at the restaurants for dinner what makes your evenings hit or miss. Guests are all walking form one restaurant to another to get seated or get on the list to couple of them. I am not coming back for sure. The only good thing are the renovated, large rooms."
