"This is a beautiful property and immediately upon entering you can see the effort the host has put in to make this a special place to stay. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about the property itself however…the neighborhood is full of barking dogs and because of the thatched roof it got so bad we both slept downstairs on the double couch. And one last warning if you are staying over on a Saturday, there was a live band playing a few blocks from the house which didn’t stop until 3am! ...

"Los domos son muy bonitos para fotografías, pero la realidad es que están muy descuidados. La chapa de la puerta está floja y cuesta trabajo cerrarla, los mosquiteros no están bien sellados, las llaves de la regadera no funcionan bien, había focos fundidos y que parpadeaban constantemente (no relacionado a la alimentación de luz solar, porque otros focos no parpadeaban). El hecho de que no hagan limpieza todos los días hace que la cantidad de bichitos sea muchísimo mayor que en otros glampings...

"We just came back and we had a wonderful stay! Part of the resort was being renovated, but that didn't bother me. Obviously, renovations are necessary and the renovations that were done on the room we stayed in was beautiful. Walking the property, I was very impressed with how clean things were. The employees of this resort work hard and their hard work shows. I would definitely come back to this resort. The pools were nice, the food was great, the massages we received at the spa was wonderful, and we felt so pampered. Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back when the renovatons are completed. "

"Ava was a nice facility, however considering the amount you pay to stay at the property you would expect the rooms to be exceptionally clean. Our room was not the cleanest until the 2nd day when we left a $20 tip for housekeeping. The adult pool was overcrowded and service was extremely slow, which caused my husband & I to have to sit at the kid pool, just to find seating. We were unable to attend the on-sight club 2 nights in a row, due to overcrowding. The club can only accommodate 160 people, so if you're interested, get there extremely early. Prior to checkout, we were promised a complimentary van ride to the airport by one of their staff, however, at checkout they tried to charge us $76 for the ride, which ultimately turned into a mess. Overrall, Ava is a decent resort, but won't be returning. "
