“Nice relaxing resort. Always like coming here. Lakeside Grill for dinner disappointing - cold food after long wait. Breakfast was good though. Looking forward to visiting again next year.”

“The experience was terrible. The toiletries were of very poor quality, and the water was cut off before we checked out without prior notice, leaving us and our child without water to wash our faces and brush our teeth.”

“At check in, the counter person seemed to be bothered when I was checking in, had a bit of an attitude until I made a joke and seem to lighten the tension”

“I have to mention that the entire front desk staff is excellent. They are really outstanding at what they do. They make you feel extremely welcome. This group of people really make the hotel what it is.”

“The first thing was the check in, It was great, friendly and to the point with great person at the counter. Had my choice of what floor I would like to be on for my stay. Room was supper clean and the staff cleaning the rooms were very nice and courteous.”

“There are several long term renters. It’s a rough crowd. The lamp by the bed was busted. Water taps switched. Evidence of recent fumigation. It felt like someone had just moved out. I’m fine with less than standard accommodations but I felt like I was likely to be part of a crime scene. My wife warned me not to come home with bedbugs. So, as quickly as I unloaded the car, I packed it back up and hit the road. If you’re on the lam from the law, this might be a fine place to hide out. I just……

“They had a bug problem that yes they were trying to get under control but had them running out from hiding. I wouldn’t stay there again unfortunately”

“Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!”

“Great stay- amazing breakfast! Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was always available, but not intrusive- which was perfect. Visited the bookstore and the yarn store in town, and both were wonderful! We plan to come again.”

“Everything we expected and more. Visited relatively early in the Spring so we're coming back in June to make better use of outdoor dining, etc. The cabin was super cozy and we made full use of the hot tub and fireplace. We really enjoyed our stay.”
