"Nice pool and hot tub. Great outdoor area for grilling. Close to breakfast. And close to grocery stores. Our unit could’ve used a better cleaning. Staff was nice."

"There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I would NOT recommend the Spoke and Wheel restaurant in the hotel facility. The service there was so abominable that we left before ordering because we were seated for over 15 minutes and no one even spoke to us. The restaurant was NOT busy."

"The room was clean, and the staff was very nice. This was a great place to stay because we were able to walk to the south rim to view the Grand Canyon. A lot of amenities, i.e., gift shop, tavern, cafeteria, bike riding, were close by so you could walk to it. When we ordered food from the Yavapai tavern and the cafeteria, there was a problem. The staff from there were great and got our order right, but during breakfast I had to wait for a breakfast burrito. I was given a beeper for when my burrito was ready to pick up. After about 45 minutes, my husband went back to the cashier to find out what was going on, since he was finished eating his breakfast. My husband noticed that people who just put in their order had burritos on their trays. When my husband told the cashier how long I had been waiting for the burrito, right away he was given a burrito. What is the purpose of the beeper, if they don't use it? When we ordered dinner it was very crowded, so we waited outside. Again, after about 40 minutes, my husband went back inside to see what the hold up was. The food we ordered was already made, but no one brought it outside to us, and it was just sitting on the counter. So our food was cold when we ate it. We did tell the cashier, when we ordered our food, that we were were going to be eating outside, so they knew we were outside. Also, half the tables were not cleaned off. It seems like management is lacking there at the cafeteria and tavern. "

"The location was amazing. The stars for the staff go to two individuals alone. If not for them (hostess/waitress in restaurant and Brandon at front desk) I would have given ZERO stars for staff. Be prepared to ASK for everything including clean towels, coffee, room cleaning, real glasses, cheese on the breakfast buffet. NOT relaxing - it was a chore. "

"The stay was expensive for the condition the property is in. While staff members were great, the room was crowded and poorly designed. Our room was charged at the “Mountain View” rate, but basically looked out at the other side of the courtyard."
