“The room was very well laid out, bed comfortable! Staff was outstanding, very helpful from the moment we pulled up to the door! We arrived early due to a conference and they kept our luggage until our room was ready and when we checked out…conference not being over until the afternoon! Enjoyed the bar…food and drinks all very good in a relaxing area. A little walk to convention center mostly due to construction but definitely doable.”

“Loved the two days we spent here. Very good home-cooked breakfast, nice rustic cozy room with fireplace, two person jacuzzi. Just a very nice overall experience. The host is very friendly and informative.”

“There was no breakfast included. The room was very hot & they brought us a fan. The room was not ready & we had to put our luggage in a holding room. It was very nice to have the coffee & hairdryer & microwave & refrigerator in the room. However, no one replaced the coffee that we drank after the 1st day or the dirty towels. I had to ask for them. Over priced for what we received. It was very convenient to the ICC & Gainesville Fieldhouse.”

“The mansion is a beautiful, historic treasure. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and tasty, and the amenities were very nice. The proprietor generously shared her time talking about the history, the community, etc. Highly recommend for those who enjoy indulging in history and beauty during their stay.”

“This house was a great place to chill. We had 10 family members stay and there was a lot of room to spread out and relax as well as having enough hot water for everyone, which was a plus. Definitely a 10/10 and would chill again.”

“House was great and everything was clean. Julie really goes out of her way to make sure that travelling with children is much easier on the parents. She even brought over a baby monitor for us at night. Would definitely stay here again. Julie had thoughtful conveniences sprinkled throughout the hosue for the guests. Location is great, close to a Kroger grocery store for easy pickups for things you forgot and resturants close by for food. ”
