"Room had a horrible smoke smell and was not as clean as advertised. The lamp shade was broken and there were stains all over the walls and in the bathroom. Dead bolt was also broken, which made me feel unsafe. I stayed 2 nights and they added an extra towel and took the trash out, but did not give extra soap and did the bare minimum. I arrived back at the Inn after working all day the 2nd night and was locked out of my room and had to go to the lobby to get my key card activated again. I will...

"Pool was closed ! Outdoor areas were nice ! Inside was nice for the most part just not very clean ,stained mattress upstairs , stained and dingy wash cloths and outdoor trash cans haven’t been emptied in weeks . Also refrigerator had a bad smell and every dish had to be washed prior to use ! Location is nice and home served its purpose but needs some attention to detail as far as cleaning ! Also had a run in with spider and a couple of roaches ."

"We were in the area to fish a Major League Fishing event on the Chowan River. The house and yard are very well maintained. The back porch has nice furniture, and a great view of the Sound. Beautiful sunsets! An added bonus was how friendly the neighbors on both sides are! Definitely plan to come back!"
