“Check in person was very perfunctory, not friendly. Felt like we interrupted his day. Also, the room rate quoted on confirmation was not what we were charged I have copies to show the difference. Did not see any other staff. The room was very clean and comfortable.”

“The Manager on duty was amazing and after realizing that over half of the power outlets in the room did not work and the AC was also not working and no other rooms to offer he gave us a full refund.”

“We enjoyed the area — beautiful lake, gorgeous sunsets. The townhome was clean, open, spacious, and stocked with plenty of supplies and towels. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. On the downside, there is no pool and no restaurant on-site. The beach area is very small, not a real sand beach, and not suitable for kids to swim. The playground is also very small. Activities are limited if you’re not golfing or boating.”

“Very nicely decorated space with a cabin feel. Very clean & kitchen stocked with all we needed for cooking. With it being winter the gas fireplace was warm, comfy, & romantic for our get away.”

“Stayed one night for a baseball tournament. Room was just fine for our family of 4. Pool area was great! Breakfast was average. Overall, it was a good stay and would stay again if ever needed.”

“Staff was unbothered , seemed annoyed we were there . Rooms were dirty , bedding was unwashed . Tub was moldy , towel rack was broken off . People were drinking right outside of our window , we asked to be moved we had just gotten there , and they refused . I would absolutely not stay there again . We were traveling and decided to stay last minute , would not recommend.”

“Didn’t use amenities!! The only strange thing was there wasn’t a House Rules book stating how to navigate the house! There wasn’t any firewood for the wood burning fireplace which would have been nice for Christmas Eve, if we needed to get our own, it would’ve been good to know that?! There were not any exit rules as to bedding, garbage, etc!!!!!!! Otherwise no complaints!”

“This place is rustic, but has potential. No communication from host as to how to get in. I tried emailing the host via VRBO, calling, and texting. After texting I got the code to get in and the wifi. You have to have your own water to drink and cook with. It is well water without a filter for getting useable water. The well water has a potent smell and taste of iron. There aren't any curtains in the back of the house and the roll up curtains in one of the bedrooms aren't great. The furniture is……

“We were looking to experience tiny home living with our kids and found Jesse's barn on VRBO. The location was perfect, not too far from home but far enough away from the city lights. Jesse was the perfect host and even helped us jump start our car due to a bad battery at the end of our stay. Our favorite part of the stay was swimming in the pool surrounded by chickens and goats. The barn was tiny like we imagined but was still a perfect size for our family of 5 plus our dog. We will……

“Our stay was overall good. The house was welcoming and the beds were very comfortable! The floor was a little dirty and we did not have a garbage bag so had to provide our own.”
