"This place was great! I could sit on the porches all day! The best thing about sitting in the porches is that I didn’t notice any mosquitoes, I think the bat population from the caverns in Blanchard springs near by keep the mosquito population low. I also used the fire pit to eat hot dogs and s’mores one night. My children, 5 and 11 year olds loved it as well. I plan on staying here there again in future. "

"Just what we were looking for in a short getaway. Blanchard Springs was only 10 minutes away as well and was a pleasant surprise to check out. Even with the heat wave going on, the lower level at this treehouse cabin was very comfortable to sit outside and still enjoy. Outdoor cushions could use a refresh and maybe a decent set of glasses to drink from (as well as wine glasses, but it is a dry county so that may not be a priority) but the price was right."

"Needed a Quick place to stop for the night on the way to a friends house this provided everything we needed was comfortable and well placed The only thing that would have made it better would have been an elevator."

"This small cabin was near the main road, yet was secluded and provided a little piece of nature right outside the back door. The host was prompt in responding to questions. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had plenty of little extras such as games, movies, books, and extra blankets. We truly enjoyed our stay! "

"Right on the water, great for all ages. Moon shadow is a beautiful cozy place to stay any season. Has everything you need to enjoy the lake and the surrounding wilderness. Private and peaceful. I would suggest and awd or 4wd vehicle for the drive up and down especially if youre not accustomed to driving a mountain road or trails as the road to the lodge is steep and narrow in some sections. The host was wonderful and answered any questions immediately. Definitely one of the best host ive experienced."

"Clean and comfy! Great mattresses! Exactly what we needed! My 20 year old son enjoyed the space from parents in the loft bedroom. I enjoyed using the kitchen table as my sewing station. The men enjoyed fishing nearby. Hubby really enjoyed the live music in the downtown at night. We ate in a couple meals a day so there was plenty of dishes and tableware. Host left lots of snacks so. Really enjoyed those. The Keurig seemed to have bit the dust by there was a drip maker too which is what we prefer anyhow. Thanks to the hosts!"
