“The entire property is in a state of disrepair. The spa wasn’t open. The pool wasn’t open. The sauna wasn’t open. The restaurant wasn’t open. The tennis court appeared to be totally overgrown. A walkway bridge had collapsed. If u want to experience a historic property in faded glory next to the Hudson River with fallen trees littering the walkways, without amenities, this is the stay for you.”

“I had a lovely, quiet stay on the farmland. Everything was great.”

“Our stay was rather disappointing. The property seems neglected. Some lightbulbs in the bathroom were not working . The coffee maker was really filthy inside. Instead of breakfast we were offered some packaged pastry from a gas station. Plus, there were a bunch of insects in the room. There was no drinking water in the property we ended up driving to get water. I don’t understand they can charge so much money ”

“The place was clean. Only two issues. Septic smell in the bathroom. Children running around the floor above was very loud. Especially in the early morning.”

“The Owl’s nest lived up to the expectations of a nature loving getaway complete with a woodsy trail. My family enjoyed our stay.”

“A fantastic log cabin very private, quite and surrounded by wildlife. Close to amenities including some fantastic local wineries. Joyce was an excellent host who made us feel extremely welcome. Will definitely stay again and bring extended family..Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“The property was perfect for our trip. It is secluded and private. Our host Enuma was proactive and responded quickly when we had any type of concern. We would gladly book there again.”

“Very disappointing customer service at Studio 6 in Poughkeepsie. I spent a week trying to extend my reservation, but staff kept passing the responsibility to one another. Alex, the night employee, told me the morning staff could handle it. The morning employee said she needed to speak with the manager, took my phone number, and promised to contact me. With checkout approaching the next morning, I still had no clear answer. I needed to pick up my dad at the airport that morning, so I wanted to……

“Excellent staff, quiet, cozy, clean, great location. The only thing to improve is water pressure in the shower was not good.”

“There is extreme visible damage as soon as you drive up to the front of the building. The girl at the front desk in the later hours with the glasses should not be in the customer service business. She is rude, no personality and made me feel as though I was bothering her when I was checking in. The room is sub-par but the yellow stains on the outside blankets of both beds making it difficult to want to sleep. The following morning was the sweetest and most enjoyable front desk member but……

“Room is clean ,gym is good , breakfast fried egg too salty ,water fountain water was too chemical taste.”

“The views and room design were beautiful, and we enjoyed the sauna and steam rooms. However, we expected the small indoor pool to feel more like a hot tub. The water was too cool for us to relax comfortably, although a staff member said the temperature was normal. Service also varied: the woman on the first day wasn’t very welcoming when we asked for coffee, while the man the next morning was warm and friendly. The New Paltz area is lovely for walks and a short getaway, but we would only……

“AC would not adjust at all. Was freezing all night!!!!!”
