"We always enjoy returning to Brook Cottage Too so much. I feel myself relaxing as soon as we pull in – there is just such a peaceful vibe. Sitting on the little private patio, gazing out towards Overlook Mountain, is a particular favorite. You're close enough to everything in the village (you can walk to all the shops and restaurants), yet it still feels private. We can't wait to return!"

"Beautiful, spacious, historic renovated schoolhouse, well appointed furnishings. Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). A few things: If the weather is inclement, the firewood on the property along the fence will be wet. We arrived in rain and had sun the next two days but wood was wet, and could not locate any bagged firewood in Rhinebeck, so could not...

"We liked having two bedrooms and the size of the kitchen. Very convenient location. One suggestion is to have a lamp in the living room so it is usable at night."

"This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. Only caveat is that the ceilings are quite low in some spots — especially the kitchen entrance and the upstairs loft-style bedroom. Bumped my head a few times when I forgot to duck!"

"We were a bit sweltering in the heat, as the AC Units hadn't been installed yet. Rudy was very communicative in terms of getting help, but I was a little surprised that there weren't people readily available to assist should something that affected the stay that much come up. Thankfully the units were installed by the second night. Otherwise, the cottage is a lovely spot and an easy walk from Warren Street."
